Why We Built This Site
Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 and the Tennessee Public Records Act provide the access framework, subject to sealed and confidential categories. The practical problem in Sequatchie County is custody. Karen L. Millsaps keeps Circuit Court records, the Clerk and Master handles Chancery matters, lower courts have separate routes, and the public TnCrtInfo selector did not list Sequatchie when researched. The site was built to make those distinctions clear and to connect each type of request with an official source.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Sequatchie County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number when no countywide trial portal is available
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Tennessee court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers operate the search boxes shown on some pages. Their services, results, and prices are their own. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may result in a referral payment to this site. That support does not give us control over the provider, and its output is not an official Sequatchie County court record.
